Kayla Soleta, OD

Kayla Soleta, OD, is an optometrist at Diablo Eye Associates in Walnut Creek, California, providing comprehensive and medical eye care with a strong background in ocular disease.

Dr. Soleta earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, and received Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to complete an ocular disease residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where she gained advanced experience evaluating and managing a wide range of complex eye conditions, and worked closely with ophthalmologists for advanced conditions. 

Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Soleta gained experience in comprehensive and specialty eye care at a variety of clinical settings, including community health centers and university-based eye centers. Her scholarly work has included presentations on retinal disease and inflammatory eye conditions, and she presented research at the 2025 American Academy of Optometry annual meeting.

Dr. Soleta's goal is to provide excellent care, tailored to each patient's needs and concerns. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing guitar, photography, and tennis.
